This is all to say that Planet Fitness is not an exercise app. The reason, of course, is that theres nothing wrong with exercise. They just want to sell bodybuilding books.

This is a real problem. When theres nothing wrong with exercise, people can get into the habit of just going to work out. This is a big problem for Planet Fitness because every time they post an ad on their website, theres an automatic spike in traffic, and they don’t get paid. It’s a problem because if you’re getting traffic to their site, you don’t need to work out. You just need to click the ad.
