When I was a kid, growing up, I got to learn the names of the three pillars of Philippine business: a. business, b. banking, and c. tourism. Not that they’re hard to name, but I’d rather learn names like “investment” and “consumer” and “advertising,” rather than names like “finance” and “business.

I got to learn about the three pillars of Philippine business when I was twelve, and to my shame, Id have a hard time remembering the names. That would be to my regret, but here’s how Id look back at the time I spent learning about the three pillars of Philippine business.

It’s hard to tell what’s going on here, so I have to find out.

The first pillar is “investment,” “consumers,” and “advertising.” The second pillar is “finance,” and the third pillar is “business services.

This last one is a little hard to translate, but I think its finance services. There is no such thing as a business services company. One of the best examples of this is the US Army’s USASP (US Army Strategic Support Program), which is what the US Army calls its business support program. The USASP is basically the Army’s business support plan for the US Army.

Business services are actually a bit easier to define. A business services company is a kind of business that is a division of an organization that provides services to its clients. The other part of the USASP is the USASP Business Services Fund which is basically the Armys business support fund.

The US Army has over thirty different funding programs that can be used to support its business services activities. Most of the programs are used by private companies to support their services. There are also government programs of course, such as the Small Business Administration and the Community Development Block Grant programs.

While the military services will normally be the main recipients of business support funds, there are also programs for smaller businesses to use. The American Society for Training and Education (AST&E) provides training and grants to educational institutions and government agencies. Another example is the Economic Opportunity Fund which provides business support funds to small and medium-sized businesses.

I know that the SBA and the CDBG programs are both government programs, but I wonder if there is more that can be done beyond those two programs? I’m still working on that.

For example, the SBA has a very extensive list of tax abatements. The CDBG has a list of funding programs that businesses can apply for. The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants has a list of tax credit programs that businesses can use. Both of these programs have their own funding sources, but I wonder if there is something that can be done beyond just the two programs.
