I agree with Brian. When I first started going to the gym recently, I noticed that my heart rate seemed to be lower than it was before. It’s interesting, since I had previously been doing cardio for hours every day, and then I just went to the gym every other day. I guess the thing is that I didn’t really make any effort to do the workout.
You could just as easily argue that cardio is not very important for a heart rate monitor. It’s still worth doing, just not to the degree that it is to get your heart rate down to normal.
The real reason why I didn’t do this workout was that I was looking at a website called Fitness, and there were a few people who had been reading the reviews and didn’t believe it.
This actually happened to me when I tried it with my friends. They thought I was just being lazy, even though they were training. I guess the problem is that while it’s true that cardio is important for building fitness, it’s not essential. The reason you need to do cardio is to build endurance and strength. For most people this is a small thing, but for others it might be a large reason they don’t want to stop exercising.
