I was looking for some ideas for my birthday party next year when I came across this post. It’s one of my favorite places to go when the weather is nice and I’m not traveling. I remember using this as a location ages ago (I was a young girl then), so I was happy to make use of it again.
This is a great example of how to avoid the death loop. I remember when I was in college about a decade ago, we were driving around in the car and there were a few other cars going in the same direction in the same direction and all of a sudden the driver of the car in front of us said something like “This road is for cars not people. It will pass cars with no life because there’s no traffic.
But as you can see from the trailer, a certain type of person has already died and this is where we’ll go. And that’s the kind of person who has already gone insane.
You see, in the early 80s, we were still in the days of the first car-free roads. They were called highways. And they were designed to keep out as many cars as possible, but to allow pedestrians to cross the street and drive on the road. It was only years later that it became clear that pedestrians would not be able to cross the road, and that cars would be the only real threat to pedestrians.
Yeah, so how do pedestrians get cars off the road in those days? They usually just didn’t use the road at all.
I think one of the most obvious things that was done was to remove the crosswalks. As you can see in the above clip, they’ve been replaced with metal posts. It doesn’t make much difference, except it seems that the cars are still able to drive if they run into the posts, but without the crosswalks the cars can’t drive and they can’t cross.
I think we’re seeing the beginnings of a new trend in the auto world, one of the more disturbing side of the current trend in the auto world. These new posts are the first signs of creeping automotive death. In fact, I think we’re seeing the start of another trend, this time in the car world. More and more cars are being built to be used on streets and highways, not in parking lots and garages.
As if the cars with the most airbags are not capable of running things, they don’t seem to be able to run too fast. The rear-view mirror will probably be a more difficult task as most of the traffic is on the verge of being cut off.
This is in no way a direct reflection of the death of cars. At least not yet, at least not yet. I’m sure car companies will eventually figure out a way to make the cars more crash-safe, but we’re not there yet. I’m not saying it’s going to happen tomorrow, but I’m not saying it’s not going to happen someday. I’m just saying it’s not happening today.
The death of cars is a thing of the past. The end of the first decade of car use in the US. No more cars on the road, no more traffic jams. These days cars are faring just fine and cars are going to be used differently in the future. As long as people can drive and drive fast, they will continue to do so. The only thing that will change is how fast cars travel.
